What is your return policy for headwear?
We offer a 30-day return policy for all unworn hats in their original condition with tags attached. Please ensure the item is shipped back in its original protective packaging to prevent crushing or damage during transit.
How should I care for and store my new hat?
We recommend storing your hat in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Felt hats should be brushed with a soft-bristled brush, while straw hats can be wiped with a damp cloth. Avoid leaving your hat in a hot car, as high temperatures can cause shrinking.
Do you offer international shipping?
Yes, The Hatter ships worldwide. International delivery times vary by location but typically take 7-14 business days. Please note that customs duties and taxes are the responsibility of the customer.
Can I reshape my hat if it gets crushed?
Many of our wool and felt hats can be reshaped using a handheld garment steamer. Gently steam the area until it is pliable, reshape with your hands, and let it cool. For structured straws or complex repairs, we recommend visiting a professional hatter.
